SINAG: A Haikyuu Filipino Zine is a gen-themed, SFW Haikyuu fanzine that celebrates the Philippine culture — from food and places to mundane day-to-day interactions — integrated in the universe of the animanga Haikyuu. It will cover the pre and post-timeskip periods, and will feature the different characters in both canon (as tourists visiting the Philippines) and alternate (where everything is the same except HQ is set in PH) universes. The zine will be composed of illustrations, comics, fanfictions, and merchandise by Filipino artists and writers.
Sinag is, at its core a beam of light. It represents a ray of hope in the fulfillment of dreams and aspirations. Like the Haikyuu characters who continue to inspire us, we hope this zine and the stories it will capture may bring warmth, joy, and sunshine not only in our lives but in showcasing the beauty of our culture.

faq
What is a zine?
A zine, or a fanzine, is a compilation of fanmade content such as illustrations and fanfictions revolving around the same theme.
What is the theme of this zine?
The central theme of the zine will be Haikyuu Set in the Philippines, but will be divided into two universes: Canon-divergent: where the characters will be visiting the country and experience our culture, and AU: where the canon storytelling will be the same, except the events take place in the Philippines.
Will this zine be for profit or for charity?
This zine will be for profit.
Will this zine be physical or digital?
The zine will come in digital and physical forms, for both the zine and merch bundles.
How many contributors will this zine have?
The moderators are planning to hire 20-25 page artists, 5-6 writers and 4-6 merch artists. Guests are included in the count.
What language will be used for the zine?
The majority of the zine will be written in Taglish (a mix of Tagalog and English). Writers are encouraged to write in said language or in pure Filipino, however, full English-written fics are also allowed as long as the concept fits with the zine theme and the dialogues are written in Filipino.
Note: For some filipino terminologies mentioned in fics, we can provide a glossary at the back of the zine (optional).
Will you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we will not be opening international orders for now. However, international Filipino fans can still support our zine through digital bundles.
Are ships allowed in the zine piece?
As this is a gen-only zine, we will not allow romantic ships as the main subject of a zine piece.
Will you open mod applications?
Yes, we will open applications for a layout mod soon.
